Conclusion

Golden Rice if deployed will be able to support poor areas that suffer poverty, food shortage and vitamin A deficiency (VAD) which will also economically support the country that holds the certain poor area. Although the amount of advantages might seem to overwhelm the disadvantages of the golden rice. The public still needs to know the limitations that the golden rice is able to do, overestimating the golden rice is a fatal mistake that is potentially able to harm innocents.
Although one of the golden rice's main goal to be created is to fight and hopefully make vitamin A deficiency a thing of the past, most of the people who had and have heard of the golden rice project has at one point most likely assumed that the golden rice alone will be able to fight vitamin A deficiency (VAD), it is a mistake that is proved to be fatal. The golden rice although supports a considerable amount of vitamin A, it is still important to eat foods such as fruits and vegetables that support higher vitamin A supply. The golden rice will not be able to battle vitamin A alone as it does not have enough vitamin A to be able to do that.
Having said that the golden rice will not be able to fight vitamin A alone. This brings to the second importance of this post which is why golden rice is not going to impact the world too much. Although it will support countries that heavily depend on the golden rice such as Indonesia, Vietnam and China, it will not be able to support too much. Its effect had been recently been much more discussed than ever before and it has been revealed that it is not that effective. Although this will help a lot to countries that suffer food scarcity and poverty, it will most likely go to the middle to high class statues population. The reason why it would most likely go to middle to high class population, unless the lower class would receive a cheaper golden rice or receive donation, the middle to high class would most probably buy the golden rice much more and faster than the lower class. This is why it won't make an impact because it won't save and avoid VAD, it would most probably only avoid those people in the middle to high class status.
To end this post, the limitations of the golden rice is usually over exaggerated which is why it would not make an impact. And even if the golden rice had a fair amount of vitamin A to fight vitamin A deficiency (VAD) it would probably only affect those in the middle class to high class population. This is why the golden rice would not impact too much on society even though it might be able to do so.
